Our Services

  • You might not need an HR department — but how often do you wish you had someone to turn to for HR support?

Looking for reliable HR support without the full-time cost? Our monthly HR Retainer is an affordable way to get expert help when you need it. With an initial commitment of just three hours a month, you’ll have flexible access to experienced HR guidance — whether it’s answering quick questions, working through tricky employee issues, or tackling those unexpected challenges that pop up.

WhenYouNeedHR is here when you need us, without the full-time expense or the full-time commitment.

  • Does your employee handbook reflect who you are — or is it just a collection of outdated policies that sometimes cause more confusion than clarity?

WhenYouNeedHR will help you create a handbook that is a true representation of your company culture. One that not only welcomes new employees and tells the story of how your business began, but also serves as a clear, accessible guide to your expectations, values, and policies.

An employee handbook should do more than check a box — it should be a meaningful resource for your team.

  • Are you confident your workplace policies meet current legal standards — and that your employees understand them?

Do you have clear, confidential reporting procedures in place for handling sensitive issues like harassment or workplace bullying?

Staying compliant doesn’t have to be complicated. WhenYouNeedHR is here to help you build a stronger, more proactive workplace by updating your policies, setting up clear processes, and creating a safe, respectful workplace culture — all while keeping your risk and liability in check.

  • Empower the heart of your business:  your employees.

Building and maintaining consistency and objectivity is one of the most powerful ways to drive your organization’s success.

WhenYouNeedHR partners with you to provide practical guidance on handling workplace challenges — and sometimes the unexpected curveball — such as attendance concerns, tough conversations, corrective actions, conflict management, and a wide range of interrelated workplace issues.

  • Tackle fast-moving employer compliance issues.

A proactive HR compliance check-up gives your business that crucial ounce of prevention, helping to minimize costly oversights and errors—whether it’s ensuring compliance with employee records, records retention, proper I-9 completion, accurate employee classifications, or displaying required workplace posters, just to name a few.

WhenYouNeedHR uncovers and addresses potential liability issues before they escalate, providing clear, detailed feedback with practical and simplified resolutions.

As a final step, we deliver actionable recommendations and draft uncomplicated processes for you to implement moving forward — so you can be confident your business stays compliant.

  • An essential part of hiring and managing your employees.

Well-crafted job descriptions do more than attract top talent in your job searches — they set up clear expectations and help to hold employees accountable in their positions.

Accurate job classifications are just as important. In fact, misclassifying positions as “exempt” or “non-exempt” has been one of the most common HR pitfalls for businesses, according to reports from the U.S. Department of Labor.

WhenYouNeedHR creates clear job descriptions and ensures your positions are classified correctly — so you can focus on running your business, not second-guessing your compliance responsibilities.

  • Great performance doesn’t happen by accident — it happens when you lead with intention.

How do you celebrate your team’s wins? Are you consistently guiding performance with clear feedback and impartial accountability? How often are you reinforcing the behaviors that drive your business forward?

An effective performance management strategy strengthens desired behaviors while constructively addressing performance gaps — often through clear, corrective measures.

WhenYouNeedHR helps you shape a culture where excellence is celebrated, development is ongoing, and success becomes the standard.
